♡ Spring/Summer Outfit Ideas! ♡

Hello my lovelies!
Today I'm gonna be showing you guys a few Spring/Summer pastel themed outfits I put together on Polyvore!  So this is a bit random but I hope you enjoy because I love making sets on Polyvore, it's sooo fun! I'm also absolutely adoring pastels so these outfits consist of mostly pastel themed pieces which is definitely trending right now.  'Tis the season for pastels! :)

"Pretty Pastels" by bellabelle9711 on Polyvore

This first outfit is definitely much dressier than the others but I think something similar to this would be perfect for Easter!  Sometimes my family will go out for a nice dinner on Easter and this look has Easter written all over it!  It's very simple, yet classy and very feminine.  My favorite part of this set are the nail polishes! I'm a huge nail polish junkie and these color are absolute PERFECTION.

"Casual Pastel" by bellabelle9711 on Polyvore

This next outfit is super cute and casual.  I'd wear something like this if I was going to the mall with friends or just hanging out!  This might be a bit colorful for some of you, but I personally love it and think it's such a fun outfit!  I'm absolutely in love with this cat sweater because I love cats more than anything (mine is currently curled up next to me c:).

"Beach Casual" by bellabelle9711 on Polyvore

The last outfit is another casual one and I think this is my favorite out of all 3!  This would be perfect for going on an exciting summer adventure with a few friends.  Wearing your hair in a messy bun gives it a super laid back feel but all of the pink feminine touches help balance it out!  My favorite part of this set are definitely the pink heart sunnies :3

I hope you enjoyed this quick post!!!  If you're feeling up to it, leave a comment telling me which outfit is your personal favorite :))

Happy Spring Break!!

XOXO,
Rae

March Favorites/My Everyday Makeup Products!

Hey beauties!

Today I'm gonna be telling you about the makeup products I use on a daily basis!  This is kind of like a mixture of an everyday makeup/march favorites/mini product review allll in one!  And........ I finally have a picture with GOOD QUALITY!!!! If you can't tell I'm pretty excited so lets start!

So here's all of the lovely products I put on my face everyday :3  From Maybelline to MAC, this mixture of makeup is what I use to achieve my everyday look.  All of these products I would DEFINITELY repurchase (which I have already done in the case of a few of them!) and highly recommend each and every one of these to everyone!  I'll tell you about each of them in the order that I use them c:

FACE:
  • I start off with my Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream (top right corner) which can be found in the makeup section of any local drugstore! I did a review on this here a while back when I first started blogging but overall I think it's great especially for a drugstore BB cream!  It doesn't completely give me the coverage I need but it does a wonderful job at evening out my skin tone.
  • Next, I conceal all of my lovely little spots and acne scars with my Revlon Photo Ready Concealer (top left corner) which can also be found at your local drugstore or Ulta!  I believe this is my second container of this concealer and I love it! I have very bad acne and scarring and it definitely helps cover everything up.
  • To set my BB cream and concealer, I use my MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation (bottom middle) which makes your skin look UH-mazing!  It's a bit pricy but I think it's definitely worth it since powders last for so long!
  • To give some warmth to my face, I use the Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder! This is another more expensive product but I love it sooo much and I'm definitely purchasing the full size when I finish my sample!
  • Last but not least for my face, I have my blusher!  I use my MAC Cream Blush in Ladyblush (bottom left) which is unfortunately discontinued :c  Don't worry though, because I have another favorite blush!  The only reason it's not in the picture is because I couldn't find it.... But it's the NARS Blush in Orgasm.  Terrible name, but it really is wonderful and I feel like it looks great with every skin tone!

EYES:
  • Before you put anything on your eyes, you alllways have to use a primer! Well you don't HAVE to but I definitely recommend it.  My favorite is the Urban Decay Primer Potion (middle left) which you've probably heard of if you're familiar with makeup.  It has a great reputation for a reason and it keeps my eyeshadow on all day!
  • For eyeshadow, my absolute favorite palette is my Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette (top middle)! There are sooo many different looks you can achieve with this palette but I usually stick to a simple, natural one.  I did an everyday makeup tutorial post a while ago here if you would like to see how I usually wear it!
  • I actually haven't been using pencil/gel/liquid eyeliner recently so I just line my eyes with a dark, matte brown shadow in my Benefit Big Beautiful Eyes Palette (bottom right).  Sometimes I'll also use the same color to fill in my brows a bit!
  • And now for my favorite product EVER! The Benefit They're Real Mascara (middle right)!!!  I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this mascara!  It makes my lashes look so luscious and long and ahh it's just perfect so you should definitely try it out if you haven't already!
LIPS:

  • Since I don't wear lipstick everyday, I usually wear lip balm to keep my lips nice n' soft!  If I want to add a pop of color, I love using my Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Pink Punch (top left).  It's such an adorable pink color and it can add a cute hint of color to a simple look :)

Since this is kind of a favorites post, I figured I'd tell you guys a couple random favorites!

Music Favorite: Anything from Les Miserables especially One Day More :3
Clothing Favorite: this is kinda lame but I just bought a pair of hot pink Boyfriend style pants from PINK and they're sooooo comfy and I can't stop wearing them!
Really Random Favorite: MY TAMAGOTCHI! I just found my old V3 and the addiction has returned....
Favorite Book: The Great Gatsby! I finally read it over vacation this month and it's AMAZING.
Human Favorite (sounds weird): My girl Carolina!!! She's just starting her blog so go check it out because she's adorable and funny and beaaautiful and she has a killer sense of style and she's also one of my very closest friends! <3 http://carolinaelizafashionandbeauty.blogspot.com/

Well, I hope you guys enjoyed this post!  I had fun doing it so let me know if you'd like my to start doing monthly favorites or more in depth review with swatches n' stuff :3  Also, I'd love to hear some of your favorite products!

I hope you all have an absolutely lovely week!

My Favorite Bloggers!

Hello loves!

Today I'm gonna be sharing 3 of my all-time favorite bloggers!  I usually read each of these blogs regularly throughout the week.  Just as a quick disclaimer, I'm not being paid to promote these bloggers and all of these opinions are completely my own.  These girls are so fabulous and deserve a lot of love for their work!

So this first blog is probably my favorite out of the 3!  It is written by theeee most adorable girl names April (her screen name is Jasmine Blu) and she is honestly one of the sweetest girls ever!  I've been lucky enough to talk with her a couple of times through twitter and she's super nice :3  Shes blogs about skincare, fashion, a bit of beauty stuff, and she gives great reviews for a ton of online shopping websites and products!  She shares the same Lush obsession as me and she posts some really amazing homeade face mask recipes and give awesome skincare advice!  Also, her sense of style is sooo adorable and her OOTD's are always the best.  She is an overall HUGE inspiration to me <3  Go give her some love and take a peek at her blog!  She also just started a YouTube channel so go check that out as well!
April's YouTube channel is: Hijasmineblu
&
April's blog URL is: www.jasmineblu.blogspot.com

The next blogger is Zoe or Zoella!  She's from the UK (I'm extremely jealous) and she is the cutest girl EVER!  She is absolutely gorgeous and she has the most beautiful long hair c:  She started out as a blogger and as her readers grew, she started a YouTube channel (which is my personal goal)!  She still blogs often about beauty, fashion, and her everyday life along with keeping up with her YouTube channel which is quite impressive.  Her blog layout is my all-time FAVORITE out of all the blogs I've seen!  Go take a look at her blog and check out her channel! <3

Zoe's main YouTube channel is: zoella280390
Zoe's vlog channel is: morezoella
&
Zoe's blog URL is: http://www.zoella.co.uk/

Last but not least, I have Elle and Blair Fowler's blog!  If you're into beauty in fashion (which you probably are since you're reading my blog!) then you've probably heard of them before!  They're two sisters from Tennessee who starting making beauty and fashion videos on YouTube for fun.  Eventually their viewers went up, they moved to LA and now they're extremely successful!  They're both so gorgeous and they have some really amazing makeup and hair tutorials and great fashion ideas!  Both of their tastes in fashion are stellar!!! After they became pretty popular they started a blog together where they write about their lives, beauty and fashion tips, tricks, and ideas, and also some organization tips too!  Definitely go check them out if you haven't already because they're truly amazing! After all, they are the two girls that inspired Lilly and I to start this blog together!  We both loooove their blog so we figured since we're basically sisters, we should start a blog together like theirs!  I appreciate their dedication to their viewers and readers and I really look up to both of them and aspire to be like them <3

Elle and Blair's blog URL is: www.elleandblair.com
Elle's main YouTube channel is: AllThatGlitters21
Elle's vlog channel is: ellesglittergossip
&
Blair's main YouTube channel is: juicystar07
Blair's vlog channel is: otherjuicystar07

So I hope you enjoyed this post!  I seriously recommend checking out all 3 of these blogs cause I can't stress how fabulous they all are enough!  Comment below with any of your favorite bloggers! :3

Also, one of my best friends, Carolina (Caro-LEE-nuh ;) ) just started a beauty and fashion blog as well! Her URL is: http://carolinaelizafashionandbeauty.blogspot.com/  so go check her out cause she's just starting and she deserves more readers!

I hope you all have an exquisite week! <3

Cute Finds On Wanelo! ♡

So if you love fun, addicting apps/websites that just make you want to buy stuff that you probably don't need, like me, than you've most likely discovered Wanelo.  Basically, Wanelo is a webite (as well as an app for Apple and Android products) where you can find and search for clothes, accessories, and random items.  When you find something you like, it will tell you how much it costs and it will provide you with two options; Save It (which allows you to save it to your various collections of things you want) and Buy It (which takes you straight to the website where you can purchase the item)!  Overall, it's a very fun site if you adore shopping! Sooo, I thought I'd show you a couple cute things I've found recently :3  I'll start out with clothing items!

The next clothing item I found were these aaaaadorable heart tights!  They're so super cute and they can add an effortless feminine touch to any outfit!

The last clothing item I'm gonna show you guys is this lovely bunny PJ set from Forever 21! These are obviously the cutest pjs EVER and they're only $14!

Healthy Haircare

Hello Lovelies,

So I have had the Big Sexy Hair's Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner  for some time now but I wanted that make sure I really loved  it before I did a review for you guys but let me just say, I am in love with this product!!  I got this deep conditioner at Ulta a few months ago, it was a bit more expensive than most of my other products but still wasn't over the top. At first I didn't really use it very often but recently I have used it almost every night. Since I spend a ton of time in the pool my hair tends to get pretty gross and this product weather you have damage from the pool (like me!) or from styling tools this leave in conditioner helps to heal and restore my hair leaving it soft and workable.

After I take a shower at night I will brush out my hair with a wide tooth comb and then spray the conditioner throughout my hair working it product through with my fingers to make sure it gets spread throughout all of my hair.

Then I let my hair air dry and in the morning when I wake up my hair will be soft, and tangle free. If  however you are looking for textured hair than I wouldn't recommend this product but it is a great leave in conditioner that will leave hair smooth shiny and super touchable!

Lovely Lilac

Hey beauties!

So spring has sprung here and I personally can not wait to get started on trying out this years most delightful new spring trends! Now most spring trends are pretty generic, florals,  high-lows, cute sandals etc. But this year one trend that has really caught my eye is Lilac! Now there have been many different ways that this has come up recently so here's a few of my favorites :)

Here's an outfit I've put together on one of my favorite websites, polyvore.com . This outfit is one of my favorites because of the way the pieces pull themselves together. I love that the skirt plays with the flowers on the shirt and balance with the gold necklace and shoes!

Another way that I've seen lilac is in the new Essie collection! This is one of our absolute favorite nail polish brands and I was so thrilled when I saw this shade in their spring line. The name of this color is Bond With Whomever and can be found at most local drug stores, Targets and other retailers.

Finally one of my favorite ways to use this spring time favorite is through accessories! These light lavender oxfords match perfectly with the light cross body. I've picked these because I love finding ways to pull new trends into things that I already love such as oxfords and cross bodies! Now there are many ways you would be able to use these awesome pieces every day but here is one of the ensembles that I found the best accentuates these pieces.

So let us know what your favorite new spring trends are in the comments below!

Best Packing Trick EVER!

Herrrrrrrro from a sleepy Rae flying 38,941 feet in the sky! :3

Once again, I'm taking advantage of a 5h airplane ride (and free wifi) and writing a post for you guys! I'm super excited about this one because it is by far the most useful traveling trick I've ever come across! Aaaaaand it just happens to be absolute perfect timing since spring break is just around the corner! I'm going to apologize in advance for the terrible picture quality. I used an iPad to take all of the pictures since my phone is swimming in the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, but I promise that after this post I'll be back at home and I'll start using my Canon T1i which has very good quality. Anyways, I'm rambling so lets get started :)

So in this post, I'm going to share the ultimate packing secret with you guys. This glorious secret iiiiiiis...... *drumroll* ............ How to pack for a 10+ day trip with just a carry-on sized suitcase!!!! This trick has a secret ingredient which is none other than a pillow case... Yes, a pillowcase. You'll understand very soon, don't worry ;) Packing everything into a carry-on luggage saves money, and it's much easier to navigate the airport with a tiny suitcase instead of lugging around a huge one!

To give you the idea of how much you can fit into a carry-on, I too, a picture of all the clothing I took with me; 15 shirts, 2 tank tops, 4 dresses, 4 pairs of shorts, 1 skirt, 1 pair of legging, 3 swimsuits, 4 pairs of shoes (you have to wear one in the airport so I actually took 5), 2 pj shorts, 2 spandex shorts, and my makeup bag! That was actually way too much for the trip I went on, but that just goes to show you how much can fit in there!

So the big secret is rolling your shirts into a pillowcase. It sounds kinda weird but I promise you, it works! The first thing your going to want to do is lay all of your shirts flat on top of each other like so. (I didn't include my more casual t-shirts) Try to make them as flat as possible to get the best results.

This next step is a bit tricky. You're going to want to pull all of your shirts into the pillowcase by gently easing the shirts inside. To do this, grab all of your shirts from the top and pull until you reach the end of the pillowcase. Once you've done this, try to flatten out the shirts as much as possible. Then, tightly roll the pillowcase from the bottom so you create a "burrito".

Repeat the "burrito" process with your dresses (if you have any) by folding them in half (length wise) and rolling down from top to bottom. Fold your shorts in half so they're nice and flat on top of each other and do the same with pj's or any extra t-shirts.

Finally, pack your items like so!

On the larger side of you case:

Put your shirt burrito length wise on the left

Lay your shorts/leggings flat next to the shirt burrito

Place your dress burrito on top of your shorts (try to flatten it out a bit)

Stack your pjs and extra shirts sideways on the bottom, and your makeup bag on top of them.

On the left portion of the case:

Pack your underwear, bras, tank tops, and flat shoes in the biggest pocket. Make sure you pack your shoes with the bottoms up so you don't get anything dirty!

And last but not least, put your swimsuits and left over items in the remaining pockets :)

So I hope this helped you guys out because it has DEFINITELY helped me a ton! If you have extra items you want to bring, use a big purse to keep books, electronic devices, etc. in. Once again, I apologize for the the terrible quality but it will change very soon, I promise!

Thanks for reading and comment below is you have any packing tricks cause I'd looove to hear them! :)

XOXO,
Rae

Essie Nail Polish Review!

Hello my loves!!!

A little while ago, I was requested to do a review on Essie nail polish on Instagram by the lovely harry___styles___official !!!  And it just so happens that I just purchased a new bottle of Essie so I thought now would be the perfect chance to write a review! :)

(Please excuse the awkwardness of this picture. I had a really cool one on my phone, but it fell into the ocean and it's swimming with the baby whales now :c  I figured I'd rather have a real picture rather than  one that's not mine so I improvised and took this beauty on my dad's laptop ;))

So here's the nail polish! It's in the shade Ballet Slippers, which is the perfect name since I'm a dancer, and it is the prettiest pastel pink color! I've been wanting a good pastel nail polish for a while and I finally found the perfect one! It isn't a part of any seasonal collection so it's available all year round :3 The Essie polishes are a little pit pricey at $8 a bottle, but I think it's worth it! This picture that I took today still looks freshly painted and I've had it on for 3 or 4 days WITHOUT topcoat or a base coat! And on top of that, I've been swimming and I've showered multiple times and it still hasn't chipped! The only downside is that the polish itself is quite sheer which means you'll have to paint about 3 coats on, but other than that, it's FABULOUS! I definitely recommend all of the Essie polishes :)

Thanks for reading and comment below what your favorite Essie Nail Polish is!

Rae

Spencer Hastings : Get The Look

Hey guys!

So, if you're anything like me then you've got to be dying over this season of Pretty Little Liars, and weather or not you're a fan of the show there are many different looks that I've grown to love. One of my favorite characters is Spencer Hastings, her style in general is very sophisticated yet, comfortable which I really identify with. I'll take you guys through three of my favorite Spencer looks and show you how to make this look all your own!

Casual: This look is something I could see myself wearing to school on a normal day and can be put together        with pieces you probably already have hidden in your closet! I would but start by layering a lace peplum top with a dark blazer and use dark jeans to pull the look together. Then I would wear a pair of neutral flats and finish with a mid sized pendent necklace.
            Spencer Hastings

Glam: Most of Spencer's is based on mainly neutral colors with an occasional P.O.C (pop of color) so here's a few examples of how Spencer would style for even the most glam occasions.

Here Spencer uses the mainly neutral dress which is then made more casual with black cardigan and adds a P.O.C with the accentuating gold belt.

In this look Spencer wears a similar style dress although without the casual cardigan. I love the accent necklace's in this look and are a great way to kick up the style of the dress and give extra flare to the look!

Signature: Like I've previously mentioned, Spencer's style is mainly focused on neutrals so here are a few examples of how you can find your signature style just like Spencer's.

These pieces are all pulled together by the tan and cream color combinations but accents can be found in the red ring and the gold earings. This is a great look that is easily versatile and could be worn to many different places.

All of the pieces in this collection are based off of the same  colors but can be used interchangeably to create a variety of different looks.

Last but not least! One of my favorite of the Spencer Hastings looks, this one shows off the neutral balance and the P.O.C found in the bold blue blazer.

So let us know who your favorite PLL girl is and who's got your favorite style!

-A ;)

Spring O.O.T.D. !!!

Hola from Mexicooo!

I'm still in Mexico, but I thought 'd show you guys one of my OOTD's I wore when I went out to eat at a restaurant ON THE BEACH. Lie, our tables was on the sand next to the water!  If you ever happen to be in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, I highly recommend taking a trip downtown and going to eat at The Office! Anyways, since it was night and a bit colder, I thought this outfit would work for spring on a warmish day.  I'm starting to ramble solo lets get started!!!
*
*

Here's the outfit!  I personally think it's super cute and let me tell you, it's soooo comfortable!  If you're going anywhere on a beach for spring break, this is perfect for nighttime walks on the beach!  To get this look you'll need:

  1. A warm knit sweater!  I bought mine from target and it's super soft and warm :)
  2. Light wash high waisted shorts!  These ones I actually made!  I went to a local thrift shop, found some ugly mom jeans that looked like they had some potential, and cut and rolled them to make these adorable vintage-looking shorts!  Of course you can buy high waisted shorts, but they're usually really expensive so I definitely recommend making your own!  It only cost be about $5! :O
  3. I wore a triple chain rustic gold necklace but any gold tinted necklace that isn't too fancy will do!
  4. I'm barefoot in the picture because that's how I was most of the night but I would either pair this with flip flops to keep it super casual or brown oxfords to dress it up a little bit. Bare footed is the way to go in my opinion ;)
  5. I wore my hair naturally and I had a very natural makeup look as well, but you can do whatever you like! :)
So that was my OOTD!  I hope you guys enjoyed it :)  Comment with any suggestions you have for posts!  I have another spring break related post coming up as well so be on the lookout for that!  Don't forget to follow us on Twitter and Instagram to get the latest updates from us!
Have a fabulous day!

XOXO,
Rae

P.S.
Sorry for the bad quality!  I took it on my phone and tried to edit it but I think it just made it worse... At least you can get the general idea!

Make-up Makeover!

Hey beauties!

Ever since I made makeup a main part of my everyday routine I have been moving around my house from bathroom to bathroom, mirror to mirror looking for the right place to hold my make-up collection. It's taken a while but I've finally figured out the way that I like my makeup and hair tools stored. When I re-did my bedroom this past summer I turned my old bookshelf into my own makeup studio. Here's how you can too.

First I started by clearing out the top two shelves of my bookcase. Then I added long door miror to the top of the bookshelf.

To create this space I took a wire desk organizer and put an acrylic container on top and bottom. This is helpful because I keep all of the products that I use everyday such as face lotions, toner water, eyelash curlers, lip balms, powders and foundations. I also keep tools such as tweezers, scissors, and old perfume samples in old film containers. I've clamped several hair clips on the sides of the wire rack, purely for convenience.

Next to my everyday products I've lined up spice jars from IKEA that hold my brushes, q-tips, hair ties, and bobby pins. next to that I have make up sponges and two kabuki brushes.

The next space I have is where I keep my hair styling tools, products and the bulk of my makeup collection.

In this container I keep my styling products on top and my styling tools on the bottom.

This is the storage container that I received from miumiu.com for Christmas past year. I got two separate acrylic containers and stacked them on top of each other. On top I keep my palettes, one from Victoria Secret and the other from Sephora. Each drawer includes (in order): Face Products, Small Palettes, Singular Shadows, Large Palettes, Mascara, Eyeliners, Lip Products, and Lip Glosses.

On the next shelf I keep most of my favorite products, and my train case. I have hairsprays and products, body sprays  lotions and two empty perfume boxes.

Last but not least! I have all of my favorite nail polishes, I keep them here for easy access and this is just a piece of my collection but these are all of my go to colors. I put mainly my Essie products here to keep the look similar but I also have two polishes form Forever 21 on display.

So this is just how I organize my make up collection, let us know how you organize your makeup in the comments below!

Xoxo Lilly :)
